15/05/2026
With the presentation of certificates, the basic training programme Handling Firearms and Semi-Automatic Pistol Shooting Skills was completed today at the Agency for Education and Professional Training. The training was attended by 12 civil servants from the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of the training programme was to acquire and improve shooting skills, as well as competencies related to the proper and safe handling of semi-automatic pistols.
According to the training curriculum, delivered by certified instructors from the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM), this specialist training programme is organised for smaller groups of participants, with more than 50% of the training hours dedicated to practical instruction.
Certificates were presented to the participants by AEPTM Director Marko Vujević, who emphasised the importance of transferring the acquired knowledge to colleagues within their parent agency and pointed to the possibility of further professional development through three-week instructor training programmes. He further highlighted the quality of AEPTM instructors who deliver the training and regularly participate in Erasmus projects and exchanges with EU member states, thereby positioning our institution as an equal partner on the international stage. Director Vujević concluded his speech by thanking the instructors and everyone who contributed to the organisation of the training, as well as the participants for their interactive approach and professionalism.
