In cooperation with the Transfusion Centre of the Mostar University Clinical Hospital and Dr. Safet Mujić Cantonal Hospital, blood donation campaigns were organised today, with the participation of 213 cadets of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are currently attending the Basic Police Training Programme at the Agency for Education and Professional Training.

These humanitarian campaigns are a regular activity organised by the Agency in cooperation with the hospitals in Mostar. Expressing their gratitude to the cadets for their generosity and humanitarian spirit, as well as to the Agency for its continued cooperation, representatives of both hospitals reiterated that donating blood is one of the noblest acts a person can perform.

They also emphasised that current blood supplies are insufficient and warned that, without campaigns such as these, transfusion services would face significant challenges in meeting the needs of hospitals and ensuring the uninterrupted treatment of patients, whether for surgical procedures or therapies requiring blood products.
