Graduation of the Fourth Generation of Cadets Attending Basic Police Training

A graduation ceremony for the 4th generation of cadets taking part in the basic police training was organized today in the Agency for Education and Professional Training. Branko Vukoja, Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, promoted to a rank of policeman four cadets of Brčko District Police, who attended the 1-year basic police training programme of level I, successfully defended the thesis, and thus met the conditions for the promotion to a rank of policeman.

On this occassion Vukoja stated that the cadets of the Police of Brčko District of BiH had demonstrated their seriousness and persistence in acquiring the knowledge and skills being outlined in the curriculum and required for the job of a police officer. Having congratulated them on the results they achieved, Vukoja underlined the need for the constant expansion of skills and increasing knowledge through learning.

The basic police training consisted of three parts. Part I included theory classes with practice sessions that lasted for seven months (885 periods). The curriculum was realized through 14 subjects (criminal law, criminalistic tactics, criminalistic methodology, criminalistic technique, psychology, weapon handling and shooting skills…). Part II included practice sessions and training in the Police of Brčko District of BiH, where the cadets spent 4 months (640 working hours). Part III as the final stage of the trainig, which took one month, consisted of situational classes and preparations for the final examination on the Agency’s premises in Mostar.
