A Train the Trainer session has been completed today at the Agency for Education and Professional Training, as part of the Erasmus+ project "Joint Curriculum Development Project – Developing a Joint Curriculum for First Responders on Tactical Procedures for the Use of Force and First Aid (FIRST-TAC)."

This workshop is a continuation of the ERASMUS+ project, in which the Agency for Education and Professional Training has been participating since 2023, along with police academies and schools from Croatia, Lithuania, and Poland. In his speech during the certificate presentation, Director Marko Vujević highlighted the importance of international cooperation and adopting international training standards. He reminded everyone of the progress made so far within the Erasmus+ project: the curricula aimed at developing police officers' skills in the use of force and tactical medicine, the preparations for conducting trainings with detailed exercise descriptions, and guidelines for instructors leading the educational processes. There were also online preparatory phases for reviewing theoretical knowledge, which is why materials for independent learning were created for the training participants, as well as materials for the Train the Trainer workshop.

Representatives of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DKPT), and the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM) took part at the workshop - a total of 23 participants who attended the pilot training sessions last year, which were organized in Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina according to the Erasmus+ developed curricula. The goal of this workshop, conducted by instructors Ivan Pinjuh, Deni Jelovac, and Jurica Pranjić, was to gain knowledge essential for further multiplying the skills in the respective areas. At this stage of the project, it is planned for all the countries involved to organize their own Train the Trainer workshops, covering all the participants from their pilot training sessions.

This is also the final task on the list of obligations for the Agency for Education and Professional Training in relation to the Erasmus+ project, with the final conference scheduled for April 29, 2025, in Zagreb.
