Basic Training for Inspectors from Department for Foreigners' Affairs

The Agency for Education and Professional Training organized two cycles of basic training for inspectors from the Department for Foreigners' Affairs on June 8 – 12, and June 15 -19, 2015.
The training was an opportunity for 36 inspectors from the Department for Foreigners' Affairs to gain skills and acquire knowledge needed for the performance of duties of the authorized officer. According to the curriculum, during the theory sessions of the training the following topics were addressed: collection of operative information, interviews, application of golden questions, methods of forging and activities concerning admission, accommodation, departure and readmission. The practice sessions were about the use of means of coercion and detention.
The participants made an evaluation of the training and stated that it had been organized in the way to improve the performance of inspectors and that the knowledge they acquired will make a significant impact on the performance of daily tasks and activities . They made a proposal to repeat this type of training every two or three months.
