Aspecialist training course for instructors in the field of firearms handling and marksmanship skills was held at the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM) from July 7 to 25. The training was conducted based on requests from the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the West Herzegovina Canton, Herzeg-Bosnia Canton, Una-Sana Canton, Central Bosnia Canton, and Bosnian-Podrinje Canton.

The aim of the training was to acquire and enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of results during live-fire exercises within their respective institutions.

The training lasted 15 working days and was attended by 20 police officers from the aforementioned institutions. Lecturers and firearms handling instructors from the Agency for Education and Professional Training conducted the training based on the curriculum titled "Handling of Firearms and Marksmanship Skills (Instructor Training)."

The trainees successfully passed all exams and required skills assessments. At a formal ceremony, the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević, awarded them certificates of completion. In his speech, he emphasized "the necessity of lifelong learning and professional development of active police officers, based on modern curricula developed by the Agency for Education and Professional Training in accordance with international standards."
