The director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Darko Ćulum, paid a visit to the director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM) today. They discussed current developments and activities of these two partner agencies operating within the Ministry of Security. Their main focus was the education of SIPA police officers and cadets through basic, professional, and specialized training.

Currently, there are 15 SIPA cadets at AEPTM being trained for the rank of junior inspector, and another 15 cadets trained for the rank of police officer. Director Ćulum met with the cadets, discussed the conditions and progress of their training, and wished them continued success in their education. He expressed satisfaction with the working conditions and the learning and training facilities he found in the modern complex of buildings of the Agency for Education and Professional Training.

AEPTM Director Marko Vujević highlighted that ‘the Agency continuously works to improve its quality and competencies, both in terms of staffing and enhancing material and technical resources, and that this trend will continue. This applies not only to the basic training of cadets but also to all forms of specialized training courses organized for SIPA staff by the Agency for Education and Professional Training’.

The leaders of SIPA and AEPTM established the guidelines for future work and concluded that the successful cooperation would continue in the future.
