The ceremony brought together high-ranking officials from all levels of government, along with the cadets’ families, friends, lecturers, mentors, and instructors who have worked with them throughout the past eight months.

Opening remarks were delivered by the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević, the Assistant Director of SIPA, Jasmin Gogić, and the Adviser to the Deputy Minister of Security, Vedran Knezović, who extended their congratulations and support as the cadets begin their professional careers within law-enforcement structures.

Director Vujević emphasised the importance of choosing a demanding yet honourable profession in challenging times.“Their true life story now begins in serious and delicate police duties. I believe they will know how to apply the knowledge and skills gained during training and respond effectively to all tasks, first under the mentorship of experienced SIPA officers, and later independently,” he said.He stressed the need for lifelong learning and highlighted that by training this generation, the Agency has contributed to strengthening both SIPA and the broader security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaking on behalf of SIPA’s management, Assistant Director Gogić welcomed the cadets to the Agency and praised the longstanding cooperation with the training institution.
“You have chosen a responsible and honourable job,” he told the cadets. “You will face demanding security challenges that require lawful, timely, and unwavering professional responses. By performing your duties with dignity, integrity, and professionalism, you will reinforce the foundations of our Agency and contribute to the safety of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.” He underscored SIPA’s commitment to combating the most serious forms of crime, highlighting that high-quality staff, carefully selected and trained, are essential for achieving this mission.

Over the course of eight months, the cadets completed a comprehensive training programme consisting of 17 subjects across three phases: theoretical instruction with practical exercises, specialised operational training, and scenario-based coursework. Completion of these three phases was a prerequisite for taking the final exam, which all newly promoted officers passed successfully.

The generation achieved an overall grade of very good, and the Teaching Council of the Agency named Arif Beganović the Cadet of the Generation.
