Graduation of 20 SIPA junior inspectors

Branko Vukoja, Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, promoted 20 cadets of the State Investigation and Protection Agency to a rank of 'junior inspector' at today's ceremony, which marked the end of their four-month basic police training of level II. The training was conducted in accordance with the BiH Police Officers Law and curricula that were agreed and formulated to meet the requirements of basic police training of the cadets from the State Investigation and Protection Agency for a rank of 'junior inspector'. The four-month training programme is divided in two stages:

- Stage I of the education process includes theory classes with practice sessions (three months/ 525 class periods). The curriculum was realized through 17 subjects (criminal investigation tactics, technique, methodology and criminal investigations, weapon handling and shooting skills, criminal law, constitutional law, misdemeanour law…). Along with the Agency's lecturers and instructors who led the classes and practice sessions, the police officers from SIPA also took part in the subject 'criminal investigations'.

- Stage II of the education process (one month / 110 class periods) consisted of the systematization of teaching materials, situational classes and preparations for the final examination.

This class of cadets completed the basic police training with grade-point average 4,1. Nikola Ćevriz, who excelled in the last four months, was proclaimed the best cadet of the class among 20 cadets.

Perica Stanić, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency ( SIPA), who attented today's ceremony along with many representatives of the legislative and executive authority,  and security institutions, congratulated the cadets for successfully completing the training programme.
