Graduation of 20 junior inspectors of Border police of BiH

The Agency for Education and Professional Training - Mostar hosted an oath taking ceremony for 20 junior inspectors  of the Border Police of BiH. Branko Vukoja, Director of the Agency, handed over certificates of successful completion of the training to the cadets who completed the 6-month basic training programme of 2nd level, thus acquiring the rank of 'junior inspector'. The junior inspectors made a solemn oath in front of the Security Minister Dragan Mektić,  Head of Border Police Zoran Galić, and Branko Vukoja, Head of the Agency for Education and Professional Training.

In his speech at the ceremony, Vukoja congratulated the cadets for completing the training successfully, praising them for taking a serious approach to the training and showing persistence in acquiring new knowledge and skills.

The training was conducted in accordance with the Law on police officers of BiH and the curricula specially tailored to meet the requirements of the basic police training of the Border police cadets trained for a rank of junior inspector. The six-month programme ran in three educational stages:

- 1st stage consisted of theory classes and practice sessions (525 lessons/ 3 months),

- 2nd stage (320 lessons/2 months) was carried out in the Border Police facilities where cadets had practical training under supervision of Border police mentors-instructors,

- 3rd stage of training  (110 lessons/1 month) was conducted in the form of situational classes and final examination.

Vukoja stated that this class completed the training with grade point average 4.2. Haris Jaganjac, who showed himself  to be exceptionally good during the training classes, was proclaimed the best cadet of the class.

The cadets received congratulations from the Security Minister Dragan Mektić and Border Police Director Zoran Galić. The oath-taking ceremony took place in the presence of many representatives of the legislative and executive authority, representatives of the state-level security and defence institutions and agencies and entity and cantonal police institutions.
