Police cadets donate blood

The result of a fruitful cooperation of the Transfusion Medicine Centre of the Mostar University Clinical Hospital and the Agency for Education and Professional Training is today's blood donation, the fourth drive organised by these two institutions. Of 85 cadets who registered blood donations, 69 blood units have been collected. There were twenty cadets who joined the blood drive for the first time.
The staff of the Transfusion Medicine Centre expressed thanks to the Agency for organising today's blood drive, especially bearing in mind a huge strain on some blood types' reserves and components in the Centre according to prim. Jadranka Knežević, Head of the Transfusion Medicine Centre.
Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Branko Vukoja said that by such a large turnout for blood drive the police cadets have shown they want to be in service to citizens, which also creates a positive public image of the police.
