Today the Agency for Education and Professional Training is admitting the 9th class of cadets to basic police training for the rank of 'assistant inspector'. The cadets coming from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) will undergo the 2nd level basic police training  programme for the rank of 'assistant inspector'. The programme takes four months to complete. It consists of 745 class periods, divided in two educational phases: theory classes with practice sessions and situational classes. The cadets who successfully complete these two phases will be eligible to take the final examination.
