Return visit to the Agency for Forensic Examination and Expertise

Director and Deputy Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Branko Vukoja and Saša Govedarica, paid a return visit to the Agency for Forensic Examination and Expertise in East Sarajevo.

They continued talks with the leadership of the Agency, Neđo Kojić and Sead Hadžić, Director and Deputy Director, to introduce specific ways of cooperation between the two agencies, such as the organization and implementation of specialist training in forensic examination and expertise (computer expertise, chemical and physics expertise, photography, video and audio expertise, biological expertise, DNA analysis, etc.…), and trainings that would correspond to the needs of the Agency for Forensic Examination and Expertise.

As the basic police training programme covers the courses of criminalistic tactics, technique and methodology, the leaders of two agencies agreed to include occassionally experts of the Agency for Forensic Examination and Expertise to elaborate on a number of relevant issues. In that way cadets could learn more about all forensic disciplines and aspects of work of this Agency, which would, ultimately, add to their performance both as a policeman and inspector.

The staff of the Agency for Forensic Examination and Expertise are now conducting training programmes about possibilities to use cell phone, SIM, memory card and computer evidence obtained by forensic expertise. The target group of this training that is underway in the Agency for Education and Professional Training are police officers of the Border Police of BiH, assigned to work in the Central Investigation Office.
